Camping on Campus
As is traditionally the case, most conference participants will camp on university grounds.
If you don't have a tent, make a note on your rego form and we may be able to lend you one of a handful that we have available.
24 hour access to showers and toilets will be available at the uni gym which is right next to the main conference camping.
With that in mind make sure you have warm clothes and sleeping gear plus a raincoat. We will aim to help anybody that gets caught out but we cannot possibly provide 500 blankets.
If you really cannot camp we will be providing some accommodation free of charge for elders and anyone with a disability but this will be assessed on an individual basis as this is very limited. If you have a specific reason why you can't camp you can get in touch at email@example.com.
If you like your creature comforts or just don't feel like camping, you will have to organise alternative accommodation and purchase a conferance only ticket. We can suggest couchsurfer or air B&B or one of the hostels in the city. You could also post to our event page and ask any Brisbanians if they could offer a couch.
Transport to the uni grounds
If you need a ride to SoS or have seats available join the rideshare events on facebook for NSW/ACT, and Victoria.
