  • logistics — draw rough timetable, estimate venue requirements
  • food growing — start planting on Monash site (if confirmed)

March

  • finance — finalise registration costs
  • Revisit decision-making processes for new collective members
  • Look at collective care processes again
  • grievance — look at safer spaces policies and grievance procedures from various events/spaces
  • Confirm location of camping

April

  • begin writing intro texts for program (about SOS, safer spaces, contact deets, etc)
  • collect texts for reader, if there's to be a reader
  • have indig accommodation mainly sorted (completely book in June)
  • Start putting confirmed program info on website

May

  • promotion — print posters, send to campuses and other hotbeds of activism around the country
  • logistics — callout for billeting near Monash, translators, drivers
  • logistics — open section on web site for billeting and rideshare hook-ups
  • volunteers — draft tasklist, begin timetable
  • Call out for grievance & elder care crew & explain roles and structure
  • collective - revisit collective care workshop

June

  • program - start layout of program, get maps sorted, send to printers
  • logistics — confirm billets/transport for elders
  • food — confirm menu, order dry ingredients
  • food — organise equipment for Indig kitchen
  • indig - ask about needs
  • collective - plan when meeting/how communicating during SoS

July

  • Draw up big maps & signs 1-2 weeks out
  • Plan collective care space - who should be there, what you all need
  • SOS itself!
  • chill time afterwards for at least a week
  • Rant session - perhaps with a caring outside facilitator to create a safe space for rants.

August

  • debrief with external facilitator
  • collect, organise, write documents for handover
  • attend handover
